Our latest NGPTaaS release,NGPTaaS v4.5.0, focuses on two small but practical improvements that came directly from how customers use the platform every day.

One-Time Scheduling for ASM Scans

Not every Attack Surface Management (ASM) scan needs to run on a schedule. Sometimes you just need a single scan at a specific moment—for example, right before a production change, after an urgent fix, or during an incident.

With v4.5.0 you can now:

• Select “Once” as the frequency when scheduling an ASM scan.
• Choose a future date and time in UTC.
• Let NGPTaaS run that scan exactly once, with no recurring job to clean up afterwards.

This makes it easier to tie ASM scans to real-world events while keeping everything auditable and consistent inside the platform.

More Reliable Comment Attachments

Collaboration around findings often means sharing screenshots, logs, and other supporting files. In some cases, users reported that attachments added to comments did not always upload or display as expected.

In v4.5.0 we’ve improved how NGPTaaS handles these attachments so that:

• Files upload more consistently when you add them to a comment.
• Attachments are displayed reliably alongside the discussion thread.

The goal is simple: when your team shares evidence or context in the platform, it should “just work” and be available to everyone reviewing the finding.

NGPTaaS v4.5.0 is a targeted release, but we expect these changes to make event-driven scanning and collaboration around results more seamless for security teams.
